The Sunday Mass
CatholicTV's Sunday Mass, which is celebrated by priests from the Archdiocese of Boston, airs on Boston's channel 56 (cw56/WLVI) at 8 am each Sunday. The Mass is then rebroadcast on the CatholicTV Network at 7 & 11:30 pm ET.
It is CatholicTV's privilege to produce the Mass in partnership with WLVI as a service to the Boston community, and to share the Sunday Mass with our viewers on Sunday evenings. The Sacrifice of the Mass is the source and summit of the Roman Catholic faith, and is the center of CatholicTV's mission.
Since January 1, 1955, The CatholicTV Network's Sunday Mass has aired, making it one of the longest-running "shows" in Boston- and Catholic- television history.
