On Friday, August 6, actor Robert Duvall will be interviewed on This is the Day. Catholic blogger and author Lisa Hendey will also be interviewed on the show.

The CatholicTV Network's signature talk show, This Is The Day, is on every day of the week on America's Catholic Television Network™. The show airs live every Tuesday and Friday at 10:30 a.m. (Eastern) with rebroadcasts all week. Father Robert Reed and Jay Fadden host with Kevin Nelson in the Catholic News Center. The show features interviews with Catholic celebrities, Catholic news, and discussion of Catholic current affairs.

Duvall will discuss his role in the upcoming film “Get Low”, “a movie spun out of equal parts folk tale, fable and real-life legend about the mysterious, 1930s Tennessee hermit who famously threw his own rollicking funeral party, while he was still alive”. Duvall is well-known for playing the role of Tom Hagen in the film “The Godfather” and also won an academy award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his role in the movie “Tender Mercies” (1983).

Hendey will discuss her new book, “The Handbook for Catholic Moms” which was published by Ave Maria Press in February 2010. She is a Catholic mother, author, and founder of CatholicMom.com. In her new book, Lisa draws from the deep tradition of the Catholic faith, and coaches Catholic moms on how to care for themselves: heart, mind, body, and soul so that they can better love and care for their families, their neighbors, and their Church.

In her book, Lisa creates an environment where Catholic moms can reflect peacefully upon often-competitive topics like parenting style, types of schooling, and working outside the home. By sharing her own story, Hendey inspires readers to better balance their own needs with the demands of family life and faith commitment.
