The CatholicTV Network begins special programming in preparation for the 36th annual March for Life Tuesday, January 19 on This is the Day live at 10:30 a.m. The March for Life takes place in Washington D.C., on Friday, January 22.
On the network's signature talk show, Father Frank Pavone, director of the organization “Priests For Life”, joins hosts Father Robert Reed and Jay Fadden in the CatholicTV living room for a live chat about his group's work. Priests for Life has been praised by Pope John Paul II, Mother Teresa and John Cardinal O’Connor.
Also on January 19, and in support of the March For Life, CatholicTV will air a special Mass from the Basilica of the Sacred Heart on the campus of the University of Notre Dame. This Mass will be a special send-off to Notre Dame participants in the march. The Mass will air live on CatholicTV and CatholicTV.com at 9 p.m. and be archived here.
On Friday, January 22, CatholicTV will air coverage of the Mass for Life and Youth Rally from the Verizon Center in Washington. Both the Mass and rally are part of the March for Life events. The Youth Rally will feature Matt Maher, Jesse Manibusan, and Steve Angrisano.
The Mass for Life will air at 11 a.m. and will be rebroadcast at 8:30 p.m. The Youth Rally will air at 4:30 p.m. and will be rebroadcast at noon on Saturday, January 23.
