Each week, Catholic personalities Danielle Bean, Rachel Balducci and Carolee McGrath host The Gist. They will discuss topics such as abortion, raising teens in the faith and confession. Along with guests such as Martin Seehan, Emilio Estevez, Lino Rulli and others, they will also give Catholic women the gist on celebrity gossip, civil rights, weight gain, couponing and social issues. The CatholicTV Network's "Unofficial" Choir

The CatholicTV Network is proud of its association with the only Catholic boys’ choir school in the United States. During December, we premiere three new mysteries of The Rosary prayed at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington D.C. enhanced by the music of the choir school. Major Moments

In the month of August, the CatholicTV Network will broadcast two major celebrations in the life of the church. On Tuesday, August 2, the Knights of Columbus will hold its 129th annual Supreme Convention in Denver and CatholicTV will provide live coverage. Later in the month, from August 16-21, the network will bring viewers all the major events from World Youth Day in Madrid, Spain. A Life of Faith

On July 17, 2001, Monsignor Frank McFarland died suddenly. It was a shock to many who had known him during his near 25 years on the CatholicTV network. On this 10th anniversary of his passing, the network will take a break from our regular programming to remember "Father Frank", as he was better known. Blink: You Might Be Missing Something

When Father Robert Reed became the third director of CatholicTV, he introduced a new and simple innovation called "Blink." Essentially, a Blink is a short program of three to five minutes which can then be strung together to form a half hour block or run by itself to fill time until the next scheduled program. These mini-programs, which are sometimes over "in the blink of an eye," have afforded us so many opportunities to highlight one aspect or another of the rich tapestry of our Faith. The May magazine looks at the "series" Blink which features hundreds of segments available here at CatholicTV.com and can be seen throughout the week on CatholicTV.
