As the pontificate of Pope Benedict XVI comes to an end, America's Catholic Television Network will feature a week of special programming from the nation's capital to the center of Roman Catholicism.

  • Sunday, February 24 at noon: Mass of Thanksgiving for the Pontificate of Pope Benedict XVI from Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. Mass celebrated by Cardinal Donald Wuerl (rebroadcast at 8 p.m.)
  • Monday - Thursday, February 25 - 28 at 7:30 p.m.: Tune in for special programs featuring Pope Benedict XVI and the papacy.
  • Wednesday, February 27: Live at 10 a.m., Pope Benedict XVI's last Papal Audience. Conversations with Cardinal Seán at 3:30 p.m. featuring Archbishop of Boston, Cardinal Seán O'Malley and Jay Fadden discussing the pope's resignation, his legacy and the upcoming conclave.
  • Thursday, February 28: A full day of papal programming highlighted by coverage of Pope Benedict XVI's greeting with cardinals live at 5 a.m.; 7:30 a.m. rebroadcast of his last general audience; live coverage of the pope's departure for Castel Gandolfo live at 10:30 a.m.; Mass of Thanksgiving from the National Shrine with Archbishop Timothy Broglio live at 5 p.m.; Mass of Thanksgiving for the ministry of Pope Benedict XVI and for the election of a new pope celebrated by Bishop Robert Deeley at Boston's Cathedral of the Holy Cross live at 7:30 p.m. Tune in throughout the day for special programs on Pope Benedict XVI, Blessed John Paul II, the papacy, and the Vatican.   • Friday, March 1: 8:30 p.m. "Reflections on Pope Benedict" - Bishop Robert Deeley, personal friend of Pope Benedict XVI discusses the former pope's legacy with Kevin Nelson. 9 p.m. Truth & Beauty: A Musical Tribute to Pope Benedict XVI as Dr. Peter Latona conducts the Choir of the Basilica of the National Shrine.
