Dr. John Clabeaux has hosted four CatholicTV series. His other series are Experiencing Paul, Experiencing God, The Prophets and You, and The Gospel of Matthew. They are all available here at CatholicTV.com/Scripture. You can also see "Matthew" at 1:30 p.m. on Mondays, "Prophets" at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesdays and "Paul" at 1:30 p.m. on Thursdays.

According to Dr. Clabeaux, “The focus of this (new) series of programs is that the Gospel of Mark is, from the beginning, through the middle, and to the end, the story of a journey. It is fundamentally about who Jesus really is, and what it means to be, a disciple.” Since being a disciple is another way of saying being a Christian, Dr. Clabeaux explains what it means to follow Jesus’ way. He will examine what it means to say that Jesus goes before us; how he can lead us where we cannot ourselves go, except by following him. Sometimes this means following him where we would rather not go, which takes us on the “perilous journey”.
