For the new year, the CatholicTV Network premieres a new show focusing on Catholic women and their families. Each week, Catholic personalities Danielle Bean, Rachel Balducci and Carolee McGrath host The Gist. They will discuss topics such as abortion, raising teens in the faith and confession. Along with guests such as Martin Sheen, Emilio Estevez, Lino Rulli and others, they will give Catholic women the gist on everything from faith and the Church to exercising, make-up and how to stay sane. Tune in every Wednesday morning for a new show at 10:30 with rebroadcasts Thursday at 8:30 p.m., Friday at 4 p.m., Saturday at 6:30 a.m., Monday at 8 a.m. and Tuesday at 10 p.m. (all times Eastern).

  • Feb.  1: "Saints and Saving" with guest Father James Martin, SJ
  • Feb.  8: "Teens and the Faith" with guest Liz Abramo
  • Feb. 15: "Fit and Fulfilled Life" with guest Nancy Marie Megna Whipple
  • Feb. 22: "Dealing with Strengths and Weaknesses" with guest Catherine Adair
  • Feb. 29: "Volunteering and Parish Life" with guest Lauren Warner
